A little update from me and some exciting news!

Hello Yogis,

In case you did not receive my newsletter, here is a little update on what’s been happening…

Life has been wild & full. I have been enjoying my first year of motherhood and grown in many ways thanks to my little Sorley who has just turned 1, Demelza and I have recently completed the 3rd Mudra Yoga Teacher Training with a group of beautiful humans and I have been enjoying teaching my regular classes around town.

I also have some exciting news. I am opening a yoga studio (!!) at The Shore, Leith with my dear friend Moira. The vision is to create a local, community studio that is welcoming, non-intimidating & inclusive.

As well as daily classes, we will hold different workshops and special events, collaborating with local musicians, artists, charities and food places. We will also hold teacher trainings there and welcome guest teachers for workshops and trainings. As well as yoga we hope to have dance classes and a diverse range of workshops at weekends.  More info on "Lane Yoga" soon!

I am really looking forward to this new adventure and it feels right for me however it means that I will be winding up my current classes at Gathering Essence, Spoon & The North Merchiston Club and once the new studio opens I will only teach from there. Check last dates for classes HERE
It feels bittersweet as I have taught some of these classes since 2013 so it's the end of an era! Luckily, my sister Martha will take over Tuesday nights at The North Merchiston Club from November.
Also, if you have a Yoga Folk passcard you are welcome to use up any remaining classes left at the new studio until the end of the year or with Martha at The North Merchiston Club on Tuesday evenings.

As always, many heartfelt thanks for coming to class, showing up for yourself on your mat, and for supporting me as a freelance yoga teacher - I appreciate it so much! I hope to see you at class soon whether at one of my last Yoga Folk classes or at my new studio "Lane Yoga"!

Love & warm autumnal wishes,
Helen
